Last year's Dandenong International Chess
Festival was a success. Australian Masters attracted a very strong
field, and it saw FM George Xie get enough rating points to get over
2400 while FM Jesse Sales only missed out by half a point of getting
an IM norm. Noble Park Chess Club also had limited time to organize
the tournament. This year, however Noble Park Chess Club has a lot
more time to organize the tournament which it hopes it will be as
successful as last year, if not better.
